I recently took delivery of  the plaque to be installed at the Justice Centre in Nottingham to celebrate Helena B Dowson’s many achievements. I can’t wait to see it up alongside the one to her and her two colleagues who were the first three women to become Magistrates in the City in 1920. Maybe there will be an event …or maybe there won’t but NWHG will let you know once it is in place.
