AGM 17th October 2pm – NWHG
It’s October which means our AGM is approaching – Saturday 17th October, 2 pm at the International Community Centre, Mansfield Road, NG1 3FN.
Unfortunately, Cynthia Johnson has had to postpone her plan to tell us more about Dorothy Whipple’s life and works, but we hope to have it sometime in the New Year. Instead, Miriam Jackson will be telling us about a truly unsung shero from Beeston.
As a clue, can you guess why these people were loitering in the road in Beeston? What were they waiting for? Were you there?
Clean answers on a postcard please! Or you can wait for the next bulletin…
