Hello members and interested viewers
It’s June so that means it’s walks season! Our first summer walk will be on Wednesday 10th June. Meet at 7pm in front of Theatre Royal for Miriam’s walk about some Remarkable Nottingham Women from our book ‘Nottingham Herstory – 50 Remarkable Women’.
And coming up on Saturday 27th June is Charlotte May’s talk “Nottingham’s 18th and 19th Century Cavewomen” which is going to be fascinating. No need to book – just turn up at The International Community Centre on Mansfield Road for 2pm.
Also attached is a flyer for the next Marsh Forum talk about Nottingham during the 1926 General Strike at
Nottingham Central Library on Saturday 11th July at 10.30 am.
The excellent Roger Tanner is speaking so it will be a good one. It is a free event but you need to book using the link below.
